Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.
We are currently recruiting Personal Care workers for Inner West Sydney- Abbotsford, Ashbury, Ashfield, Balmain, Balmain East, Birchgrove, Breakfast Point, Burwood, Cabarita, Camperdown, Canada Bay, Chiswick, Concord, Croydon, Drummoyne, Dulwich Hill, Enfield, Enmore, Erskineville, Five Dock, Glebe, Leichhardt, Lewisham, Lilyfield, Marrickville, Mortlake, Newtown, North Strathfield, Petersham, Rhodes, Rozelle, St Peters, Stanmore, Summer Hill, Sydenham, Tempe, Wareemba, Burwood, Rhodes and surrounding areas.

- Permanent Part time or Casual contracts available depending on your location and availability to work
- Earn hourly rate of $31.38p/h + 11% super
- Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time

Your New Role:
- Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with Personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime & medication prompting
- Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing
- Transport: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
- Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
- Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
Key Requirements:
- Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
- All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 with a minimum of 2 doses
- Align to our values of Warm, Bold & Honest
- Must have a minimum 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support
- Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory
