Personal Care Worker - Full time and Part time

We have exciting part and full time opportunities for experienced and motivated Personal Care Workers / Assistants in Nursing in aged care, with a range of shifts available, mornings, afternoons or nights within the Mark Moran Group's state-of-the-art facilities in Little Bay. We are the most awarded aged care group in Australia with facilities in Warrawee, Vaucluse and Little Bay!

A typical day will involve:
- Taking responsibility for the care and wellbeing of our residents and assist in the provision of resident care i.e. feeding, personal hygiene dressing, grooming, safe mobility etc. ensuring the comfort, privacy, dignity, and preferences of each resident are respected
- Continually monitor residents and report changes in health and condition to Registered Nurses.
- Working with planned individual resident programs, including programs in lifestyle and wellbeing, rehabilitation and prevention
- Maintaining resident’s environment and ensure housekeeping and laundry schedules are maintained.
About you

- An innate desire to improve the lives of others
- Previous experience in a Personal Care or aged care role is desirable
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or a related discipline.
- Intermediate computer literacy.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
