About Meadow Springs Aged Care
Meadow Springs is in the vibrant coastal city of Mandurah, approx. 4km from the town centre. Meadow Springs is home to 87 Residents.
About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Personal Care Workers with medication competency to join our team on a Casual basis to cover a variety of shifts, AM, PM and overnight.
Reporting to our Registered Nurses, our Personal Care Workers are responsible for providing quality care to our residents. This includes:
- Providing direct care, support and guidance to residents in accordance with best practice.
- Working towards establishing positive relationships with our residents and working collaboratively within a team environment with an attitude of respect, integrity, teamwork and bring a little sparkle to our residents lives.
- Responsiveness to reporting incidents and changes in resident behaviour in a timely manner to our RNs.
About You
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following :
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Aged Care Experience (desirable)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Evidence of current Flu Vaccination
- Evidence of Covid-19 Vaccinations
- Eligibility to work in Australia
