Our residential facilities at Seaton and Fulham are seeking permanent Personal Care Workers that live and demonstrate our values.

As a not-for-profit organisation, you can take advantage of our salary packaging where you can package almost $16,000 per annum tax free.  

The Ideal Candidate:

You will be dedicated to the provision of excellent care, be reliable, work well within a team (and independently) whilst following the directions of our registered nurses to manage our workload.  

You will:

• Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a willingness to support our residents wholeheartedly;
• Prioritise person-centered care, allowing our residents to live their best lives with dignity and respect;
• Understand and adhere to clinical procedures and the Aged Care Quality Standards to ensure each residents safety and well-being;
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and understanding of each resident and value the uniqueness of each of our residents;
• Excellent understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia including those who display challenging behaviours
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Sound time management to manage own workload;
• Right to live and work in Australia;
• Can obtain a National Police Check
• Hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care; and
• Be experienced in working as a qualified Personal Care Worker within an aged care residential environment.

Our vacancies:

We have permanent vacancies - and these cover all days and hours over a 24/7 period. Our shifts vary in length as follows:

• Day Shift - various shift lengths between 4 hours and 7.5 hours between 7am to 3pm
• Afternoon Shift - various shift lengths between 4 hours and 7.5 hours between 3pm to 11pm
• Night Shift - 11pm to 7am
