The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor. You will have carriage of your own matters and progress claims on behalf of clients. This area of work is extremely rewarding and meaningful, where you will be an integral member of the team and assisting survivors of abuse. The role will include:
- Carriage of your own matters, under the supervision of the Senior Partner
- Undertaking legal research
- Drafting court documents (subpoenas, statements of claim)
- Liaising with clients, defendants and briefing counsel
- Attending mediations and settlements
About you:
- 3+ years PAE in Personal Injury (Abuse Law will be advantageous)
- Proven experience in handling Personal Injury compensation matters
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously
- Experience in online court registries, especially NSW
- Passion for helping victims of abuse, with an empathic approach
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and excellent time management, with the ability to effectively time record
- Able to demonstrate initiative and pro-active problem solving skills
