Pest Control Technician And Trainee Pest Control Technician

Pestpro is a locally owned business operating out of Hamilton Hill providing commercial and residential Pest Control to our client base. Due to sustained growth, we are looking to add a Qualified Pest Technician and a Trainee Technician to our business servicing Commercial and Residential Clients. Servicing North and South of the river

The Preferred applicant will deliver a high level of customer service the ability to work unsupervised and have a strong work ethic. Working with a friendly well blended team.

Monday to Friday or 4 day working week available!

Our ideal Qualified applicant will possess the following:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in all aspects of commercial and residential Pest ControlPest Control
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in termite inspections and post termite treatments
• Current Firearms License preferred but not essential.
• Previous weed management experience. Broad Acre or localized is preferred but not essential.
• High level of communication skills and customer service
• Problem solving ability.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work with digital technologies: Thermal Imaging Cameras, Boror scopes and or Termatrac.
• Ability to work flexible hours: Dominantly Mon-Friday with Optional Weekends
• Well presented.
• To be motivated, punctual, reliable and professional.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Trainee Pest Control Technician (Provisional) 

Pestpro provides traineeships, widely recognized as a leader in the industry, we combine practical on the job training with senior technicians and management while you also attend specialized training via Tafe.  

This provides an opportunity for people new to the industry to gain the necessary qualification & licensing requirements while being paid a full-time wage.   

Pestpro will pay you to obtain a Cert III in Pest Management. The traineeship is accredited by TAFE & over seen by ApprentiCentre to ensure a nationally recognized qualification. 

Fully supervised training is provided initially, while learners progress to a Provisional license and eventually to a full license issued by the Pesticide Safety Division of the Heath Dept. Training duration of about 13-16 months.  

Trainees will be paid above award industry rate (of a licensed technician) while keeping work vehicle privileges and are fully allegeable for commissions and penalties. Once fully qualified your wage will increase to a fully qualified trades wage.  

License requirements:

• Current Cert 3 in Pest Control with WA license
• Current WA driver's license 
• Current white card
• Current police clearance or whiling to obtain.
