AddressOur client, an international pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, is seeking experienced Pharmaceuticals Associates to join their team in South-East Melbourne.
This role will be responsible for producing safe and effective vaccines, upholding strict cGMP compliance, and contributing to operational excellence in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to gowning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for incidents.
- Perform operational tasks while adhering to cGMP, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure thorough documentation completion and batch disposition.
- Engage in troubleshooting routine equipment, process, and digital issues promptly.
- Actively participate in investigating deviations and associated CAPA tasks.
- Quickly respond to and resolve routine equipment and process issues.
- Maintain up-to-date training records and ensure accuracy of documentation.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, demonstrating basic mechanical skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working off-hours and overtime as needed to meet corporate objectives.
- Engage in multiple projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Ideally, 3-5+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- College degree specializing in pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with aseptic techniques, Visual Inspection, and PFS.
- Proficiency in filtration, chromatography, and cold chain management.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Experience in audits/inspections and knowledge of Health authority regulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- This role is site-based and does not offer remote work options.
