· Patrolling and inspecting equipment to ensure proper operation and setting operating controls on equipment.
· Conduct test operations and adjust the equipment and machine to maximise production
· Check the different parts of the equipment and troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes and arranging maintenance when required.
· Assisting in planning and improving processes and product quality.
· Supervise the operators of the correct usage and procedures to prevent breakdown and for proper maintenance of the machines and equipment
· Mixing and monitoring chemicals used in production process while ensuring strict adherence to GMP regulations.
· Controlling records of production, quantities transferred and details of blending and pumping operations.
· Ensuring Quality Assurance batch documentation is completed in an accurate and timely fashion.
· Informing QA of any issues with production of batch.
· Reporting accidents or safety concerns.
Skills/qualifications required:
- Mechanical/engineering qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a plant environment
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and WHS requirements
- Good written and verbal communication
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work as part of a team and self-motivated
