AddressWe have an exciting vacancy for a Pharmacist. This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, it will involve hours from Monday to Sunday, and the ability to work some weekend shifts would be required.
Newly registered Pharmacist is welcome to apply. Importantly, we are looking for a pharmacist who can communicate and relate well with our customers and offer exceptional customer service.
Applicants must be knowledgeable and have the passion to build a strong rapport with new and regular customers. Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent) with one year experience is preferred. Registration with AHPRA is required.
He/she must be passionate in introducing our services to improve the well-being of our patients and support new business strategies with enthusiasm.
The successful applicant may work under supervision of senior Pharmacist and Pharmacist manager to help look after our customers and the services we offer to them.
You will be required to perform the following duties:
- Counsel consumers on their medication (both prescriptions and over-the -counter products)
- Prepare prescriptions in a timely, efficient and accurate manner per pharmacy procedure
- Dispensing, counselling, vaccinating and injection services
- Assist in the provision of Dose Administration Aids
- Practie in accordance with legislation and professional guildelines
- Practice in accordance with dispensary policy and procedure (e.e. QCPP)
