** Opportunities Available for Newly Registered Pharmacists – Both Full-Time and Part-Time **

In the role of Pharmacist, you will be instrumental to our pharmacy operations, offering a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on patient care, collaborate with a committed team, and maintain the highest standards of healthcare practice in our community.

You will also work closely with a network of healthcare professionals to advance health and wellness initiatives, establishing valuable partnerships with our pharmacy affiliates. This role is integral to expanding our comprehensive care network, significantly extending our reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate the pharmacy's operational requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Elevate patient care and customer service in collaboration with the pharmacy team.
  • Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors to enhance care delivery to aged care clients.
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice, prescription services, and medication dispensing, tailored to meet the health needs of our customers.
  • Optimize the efficiency of pharmacy services, including the management of Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) and the dispensing process.
  • Ensure meticulous accuracy in medication dispensing through the rigorous review of prescription orders and the application of robust medication safety protocols.
  • Support the aged care team, systems, and patients with specialised knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Experience in community pharmacy preferred.
  • Demonstrated involvement with 7CPA professional pharmacy practice programs.
  • Knowledge of Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Understanding of key performance indicators.
  • Experience managing budgets, wage percentages, and gross profit margins.
  • Proficiency in Fred Dispense, Office and POS, Quantum Dispense and Dispatch is advantageous.
