Working Monday to Friday with no late nights, this is a fantastic opportunity to further enhance your career in a supportive multidisciplinary team environment. It’s also a great place for existing community pharmacists to start a hospital pharmacy career. In this role you will provide pharmacy services to inpatient and day surgery patients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines. Full induction and training will be provided for the successful candidate. In this role, you’ll: Oversee daily operations, including dispensing and clinical activities Be efficient and effective at dispensing and distribution of medication Provide efficient clinical pharmacy services Conduct medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and discharge summaries at transfers of care Educate and advise staff and patients on disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines Involvement in quality activities within the department Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients Who are we?
