About the opportunity:
Working as part of a team within a GMP environment and reporting into the Pharmacy Team Leader; you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing pharmaceutical components for the production team, ensuring they have all the materials needed to precisely produce life-saving medication.
Duties:
Receiving and checking incoming product
Stock control and replenishment
Picking and preparing of raw materials/packaging for the production team
Documentation in relation to material handling for production
Packing and dispatching of compounded products
Supporting pharmacy and production technicians
Ad hoc duties
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a pick pack or Pharmacy Assistant role is essential
- Must have an excellent eye for detail
- Need to be flexible & willing to do overtime
- Healthcare industry experience (such as retail pharmacy) is very beneficial
- Releavant tertiary qualification in pharmacy or medical science would be advantageous
- Great verbal and written communication
- Strong understanding of GMP
- Comfortable wearing PPE
- Happy to commit to an on-going and long term assignment
