AddressWe are looking for a pharmacy assistant ready to take the next step in their career as a part of our Aged Care Team on a full time basis. The focus is on finding the right personality fit rather than previous experience, however experience within pharmacy and Aged Care services is preferable, specifically using the BESTmed and FRED dispense systems.
We are a Priceline Pharmacy located in Drummoyne and we're looking for a new team member to help us grow and provide excellent health care and customer service as a leader in the pharmacy team.
Pharmacy Tech/Assistant
As a pharmacy assistant you will be required to perform the following duties:
- Work alongside the pharmacists to prepare medication sachets, make changes, dispense facility and patient orders in a timely manner
- Manage patient medication profiles and medication charts using the communication tools and BESTmed platform
- Take responsibility for best pharmacy practice principles
- Lead the team in the area of stock management
- Maintain a high level of performance and efficiency
Requirements for the position
- Pharmacy dispensary experience
- Current police check and driver's license prior to starting the position if trial is successful
- Ability to work early mornings, or late nights and/or 1 day on the weekends, which all staff are required to do
