About the Department
The Pharmacy Department supports the Sale, Maffra, and Heyfield campuses of Central Gippsland Health, as well as Yarram Health Service. You'll be part of a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment, collaborating with pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and experienced Pharmacy Technicians.
About the Role
We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team at the Sale campus Pharmacy Department. Ideal candidates will be team players with excellent communication and computing skills.
Community pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for those without pharmacy experience.
We have multiple roles available and offer flexibility in hiring Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 technicians, based on experience. Positions are available on a full-time, part-time, and fixed-term basis.
Duties
As part of our team, you will:
- Dispense medications
- Supply medications to clinical areas
- Visit remote sites to facilitate medication supply
- Participate in medication safety and departmental projects
- Manage stock, including ordering and receipting goods
About You
- Ready for a new challenge!
- Experience in hospital or community pharmacy preferred
- Certificate III in Hospital Pharmacy Technician course completion is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to undergo applicable training
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- General clerical skills
