An exciting opportunity is now available for a Pharmacy Assistant/ Dispensary Technician to join our team at Wandong Pharmacy on a part-time or full-time basis.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Actively assist our customers with professional service and advice
- Confidently sharing advice and information with your knowledge and understanding of products and their benefits.
- Accurate dispensing of medications whilst supporting the Pharmacists, ensuring all prescriptions are dispensed and checked as per guidelines
- Ordering of stock, including daily orders
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the dispensary and the medication shelves at all times
- Working as part of a dispensary team that promotes the best patient health outcomes including improved compliance and understanding of their medications and health conditions
- Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
- Maintain a high level of stock integrity and accuracy
Skills and experience:
- A strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills with a caring and attentive nature
- Highly organised and methodical with excellent communication skills
- Previous Experience with FRED Dispense system (preferred)
- Dispensary Technician Qualification and experience (preferred)
- Medication packing knowledge will be an advantage but not essential
- A positive "can do" outlook on life and work with superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Commitment to learn and grow with the business
- Available to work weekends

S2 & S3 trained applicants or holders of certificates I - III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded.
Dispensary Technician experience will be highly regarded.
