Western Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Grade 3 Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This position presents an exciting opportunity to join Western Health Pharmacy at a time of growth and development in our Health Service.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing our Ward Based technician team. This includes training, orientation and supervision of fellow technicians . This Senior Technician also plays an important role in maintaining accurate inventory management, promoting medication safety and ensuring the smooth operation of the Pharmacy Department.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent
- Minimum of four years full time experience as a qualified Pharmacy Technician
- Well-developed organisational skills and capacity to assign priority to responsibilities to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
- Leadership qualities and the ability to help supervise junior staff
