Venue Manager - Breakfast & Burger Restaurant

Remy's in Paddington has been serving customers Breakfast, Burgers & Beers for 10 years. 

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Venue Manager to oversee our establishment's daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. 

This role is a performance-based role. You must be a talented and motivated Manager who has a track record of achieving tangible results in your previous roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Involvement in Service (this is a hands-on role is approx. 80% service & 20% admin)
  • Maintain delivery of high-quality customer service and food & beverage products
  • Manage issues 
• Achieve financial targets in Hospitality setting
  • Wage Costs
  • COGS
  • Sales Revenue Increases 
  • P&L Reporting
• Develop high-performing teams
  • Hire, train, and manage staff
  • Foster positive culture 
  • Coaching and performance improvement
• Day-to-day management
  • Roster/Scheduling
  • Oversee stock/inventory management 
  • Source appropriate supplier opportunities
  • Maintain WH&S standards
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback
  • Oversee customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
• Strategy development & implementation
  • Develop marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers and increase value of existing ones
  • Collaborate with other department heads 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Venue Management
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a team
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle complaints and feedback
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyse financial statements and budgets
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
