Active Performance is looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our expanding team in Cairns!

- Based in a thriving Cairns city Private Practice, we have a team of experienced allied health professionals including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Allied Health Assistants
- Opportunity to join our remote trips to numerous indigenous communities throughout FNQ, Cape York, Torres Strait Islands and East Arnhem Land to work with our NDIS clients who live in some of the most remote and beautiful locations in Northern Australia

About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be self-motivated and have the confidence to work independently with a range of clients
- Enjoy collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to team meetings and PD sessions
- Have the willingness and ability to build rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Have the desire to work with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds
- Have a positive mindset, be adaptable and eager to deliver Allied Health services in a wide variety of settings
Essential
- A client centred approach that is both professional and empathetic
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current police record check and blue card or ability to obtain.
- Current registration with Physiotherapy Board AHPRA
- A personal alignment with Active Performance’s Mission and Core Values to deliver high quality, skilled Physiotherapy services in line with accreditation frameworks.
Advantageous
- Confident in using software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to think laterally and adapt assessment and treatment to suit remote localities with potentially limited resources.
- NDIS experience in providing individualised care and wellbeing management plans to assist clients to reach their health goals
