SalaryAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal) to join the Physiotherapy Team at the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme ( https://www.healthycareers.health.qld.gov.au/attraction-incentives )
Your opportunity:
- To deliver advanced level and independent primary contact musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinical consultancy, clinical management, and care coordination to patients of Hervey Bay & Maryborough Hospitals.
- To deliver professional and clinical leadership and act as a resource in their area of expertise including clinical practice supervision of less experienced physiotherapists and clinical support staff.
- To independently manage the day-to-day service delivery of their primary contact musculoskeletal physiotherapy service, ensuring quality outcomes in collaboration with the Director of Physiotherapy.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $167,531 p.a., comprising salary between $140,767 - $146,833 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
