Community Physiotherapist
- Based from our Keswick office
- $44.84 to $49.96 per hour + up to $18,550 tax-free salary packaging options
- Permanent Full Time and Part Time Positions Available
This role involves visiting clients in their own homes in the Metropolitan Adelaide area. Working autonomously in the community, you will be responsible for the professional delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services to clients across a number of programmes. You will work with clients to help them maximise their physical potential and achieve optimum independence and quality of life in their own homes. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health Professionals and Nurses. You will be provided with a work mobile, laptop and access to a fleet vehicle.
Key Responsibilities- Community based role with a strong focus on enhancing the independence of our clients on short term programs
- Carry out intensive assessments of client needs and create personalised plans to enable clients to achieve their goals
- You will share knowledge of funding streams, access to equipment, services and community groups with your clients
- Collaborate with both internal and external health professionals and services.
- Liaise with families/care providers by providing ongoing support, care and education
- The ability to work independently and efficient time management skills
- Plan and carry out relevant training/handovers to staff including Care Workers
- Full AHPRA Registration with no restrictions
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
- Demonstrated experience in a community, hospital or rehabilitation setting
- Excellent client centred focus along with effective communication/problem solving skills
- Knowledge and understanding of My Aged Care funding and services
