SalaryWestern Health is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary health team at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC), a maximum security women’s prison. This role is part time, in an ongoing capacity.
The Grade 3 Physiotherapist will provide clinical expertise and skills to ensure best-practice patient centred care. The clinician will have the leading role in ensuring excellence in physiotherapy care for patients at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC). This role is part of a well supported, innovative multidisciplinary team.
The role involves the assessment and treatment to a range of populations including physical disability, cognitive impairments, chronic pain and musco-skeletal issues, with the intention to assist patients to optimally manage their physical functioning both whilst in custody and in ensuring a successful transition back in to the community. This role offers the opportunity for leadership, development and creative problem solving, with a mixture of acute and subacute work.
