With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join the team at Northern Health, Epping campus.The Grade 2 Physiotherapist will provide leadership and ensure high level, evidence-based physiotherapy care to Acute inpatients. The role includes the organisation, implementation, development and supervision of physiotherapy care and the promotion of best practice.Areas of clinical work may include general medical, surgical and cardiorespiratory inpatients, including those on the Pandemic wards at Northern Hospital Epping as well as cover in other areas as a member of the inpatient acute team. This role rotates across the inpatient wards with other acute rotating physiotherapists.To be successful in this role you will have:
- A background which includes significant experience resulting in high level of clinical skill in cardiorespiratory and acute physiotherapy
- Experience and/or interest in developing skills in clinical education
- Demonstrates leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care
- Well developed interpersonal skills.
- Well developed organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated sound clinical skills
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
