Remuneration: $34.01 per hour to $49.27 per hour
About the role
The Exercise Physiologist works as part of the multidisciplinary team in Day Rehabilitation Unit (DRU) within Calvary Health Care Kogarah (CHCK). The exercise physiologist conducts assessment and provides exercise programs to the patients referred to the day Rehabilitation Unit at CHCK. The exercise programs are conducted within the Gym and Hydrotherapy pool in conjunction with other Allied Health Professionals in DRU.
About you
Degree in Exercise Science or Exercise & Sports Science or Rehabilitation Science or equivalent and currently accredited Exercise Physiologist through ESSA
Post graduate Exercise physiology experience and Clinical experience working within a Rehabilitation setting.
Ability to participate in staff and/or student supervision.
Well developed time management skills and Excellent written / verbal communication and computer skills
Clinical experience working within a chronic population, people with poor balance, fall prevention, Parkinson’s disease and hydrotherapy
Knowledge of quality improvement and service evaluation processes
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
