Our service promotes evidence based inclusive practises across all areas of the school day from the classroom to the playground.
Support is provided across the range of domains including developing movement skills, optimal seating for learning, movement in and around the school, manual handling and play. Addressing the posture, movement and neurosensory motor development needs of students influences their ability to learn, engage, participate and achieve positive educational outcomes
Service is delivered through a variety of models including teacher professional development, group intervention, individual service and telepractice.

Your Role:
Your opportunity is to develop your paediatric skills across a range of settings within a variety of teams and make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people with disability.
Responsibilities include:
- Form strategic partnerships with schools, allied health professionals and families.
- Identify, assess and implement physiotherapy programs and provide services for students in the designated target group.
- Provide a consultative and resource service regarding physiotherapy to teachers, parents and others.
- Participate in specialised projects and research activities in consultation with the supervising physiotherapist.
- Development of skills for supervision university physiotherapy students with support from your senior advisor.
