Position Overview: We are looking for an Allied Health Professional with expertise to enhance our patient care team. The successful candidate will work closely with our specialists, particularly Urology, to deliver exceptional care, provide specialized services, and contribute to the overall success and growth of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care to patients under the guidance of specialists.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with specialists, nurses, and other Allied Health professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Education and Support: Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures. Provide emotional support and guidance to enhance overall patient experience.
- Diagnostic Procedures: Perform and assist in diagnostic procedures as required, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed, confidential and accurate patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive healthcare environment.
Compensation and Room Lease Options: We understand the importance of a fair and flexible compensation structure. We have various options that we are open to discuss with the successful candidate as outlined below:
- Hourly Pay: Receive competitive hourly compensation for your time.
- Percentage-Based Model: Bring your own caseload, see our patients, and earn a percentage of the generated revenue.
- Flat Rate Room Lease: Opt for a flat-rate room lease, allowing you to bring your own clients and manage your practice independently within our Specialist Centre.
Qualifications:
- Allied Health degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Experience in a Urology setting is highly desirable
- Current professional licensure or registration, as applicable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
