The Repat Neuro-Behavioural Unit (RNBU) at Daw Park's Repat Health Precinct, managed by the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) Older Persons Mental Health Service, offers specialised care for 18 individuals with severe dementia-related behaviours. These unique needs necessitate a non-mainstream approach, with the primary goal of transitioning residents to long-term care through a holistic, person-centred journey. About the Role:
The Repat Neuro-Behavioural Unit (RNBU) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include:

• Provide caring and compassionate care to consumers with BPSD (Brodaty tier 7).
• Collaborate with Senior Physiotherapists to enhance physiotherapy outcomes within RNBU and other services within the Mental Health Division.
• Conduct assessments, interventions, and management of consumers within RNBU, including those with age-related diagnoses and cognitive impairment.
• Manage a case load of consumers, including those with more complex needs, and provide specialised clinical services to ensure optimal consumer flow.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in providing physiotherapy services to individuals with dementia and cognitive impairment,
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team,
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care,
• Availability across a 7-day roster.
