About the role
Tweed Community & Allied Health has an exciting opportunity for up to three new or recently graduating entry level physiotherapists to commence with our physiotherapy department at the new, state of the art Tweed Valley Hospital in May 2024. The Tweed Valley Hospital represents one of the largest regional capital health investments funded entirely by the NSW Government and will include expanded operating theatres, emergency department, medical and surgical services, GEM, new interventional cardiology and radiotherapy services, comprehensive cancer care as well as enhanced ambulatory care services. These Level 1 physiotherapy positions (new or recent graduates with less than 12 months experience) will be responsible for servicing a variety of clinical areas including, but not limited to, hospital inpatients (medical, surgical, orthopaedics, CCU, GEM, ICU, ED) and community health outpatients. As per our normal service requirements, the incumbents will be required, following a period of clinical orientation and competency training, to contribute to the acute hospital weekend and public holiday roster.
