About the Role
We are recruiting for Casual Physiotherapists to provide weekday and weekend cover at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital. The Hospital is currently undergoing a major development with upcoming increased surgical caseload courtesy of additional operating theatres. Opportunities exist to cater for this increased demand. Our caseload consists predominantly of acute post-op orthopaedic and cardiothoracic patients, but also medical patients admitted via our Emergency Department
You will be responsible for providing high quality Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning for inpatients.

- Relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy
- Registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level time management and ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/ caseload.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Relevant post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting desirable
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts desirable
$38.53 - $53.80 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
