About the role
Lead and co-ordinate the delivery of advanced level Physiotherapy services and leadership in the area of Orthopaedics within Clinical Services Division, working as a member of a multidisciplinary team, delivering services to the patients of West Moreton Health (WMH). The position involves providing clinical support to physiotherapy staff working across the various acute inpatient settings.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Advanced level Physiotherapy clinical services in the area of Orthopaedics and application of advanced level expertise, skills and clinical knowledge in a complex multidisciplinary team in accordance with the Professional Practice Standards using well developed assessment, intervention and independent decision-making reflecting evidence informed practice.
- Demonstrate ability to integrate multiple sources of clinical evidence into practice to create novel solutions to complex case work.
- Advanced level of knowledge, skills, experience and clinical leadership in Physiotherapy services in Orthopaedics within the professional and/or multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent, effective written and oral communication skills in providing multidisciplinary care in a complex environment inclusive of policy writing, negotiation skills, and innovative development of service practice models/improvements.
- Advanced level of communication and independence in effective problem-solving including conflict resolution /mediation and contribute positively in all interactions in the workplace consistently.
- Advanced level of professional advocacy and professional responsibilities beyond routine practice as required by operational and professional managers.
- Advanced level of leadership and contribution to an innovative service delivery model across the continuum which includes leading proficient change management and initiating, planning and evaluating improvement activities which can be readily applied to a hospital and health service environment

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
