The Role
PLC is excited to invite applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Piano Teacher / Accompanist, for the remainder of the 2024 School year.
This role presents an opportunity for a passionate, proficient Piano Teacher to contribute to an established, well-reputed and dynamic school music community.
The incumbent will be a music educator with a proven record of excellence in teaching Piano from Junior right through to Senior levels, as well as exceptional skills as an Accompanist in a variety of ensemble contexts.
About You
You will be a Piano teaching and performance professional who will confidently guide, develop and nurture our students’ love of musical performance. You will have the skills and personal approach that can adapt to meet the needs of students of all ages and stages.
The incumbent will be able to teach from Prep up to Year 12 (including VCE / IB Diploma level).
This role works closely with the VCE and IB students and teachers, building capacity in our students as ensemble performers as distinct from solo performance.
You will represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues and parents, and be committed to the integrity and Christian ethos of the College.
