Our client an Australian Leader in sustainable packaging is seeking a Pick Packer to join their team, based in Wingfield.Day to day responsibilities will include and are not limited to packing and quality checking plastic packaging products.
On offer is ongoing casual day or night shifts, Monday to Friday. With the genuine prospect for permanency for the right individual.
Typical duties will include:
- Pack parts into appropriate carton
- Operate machines
- Inspect parts
- Record details of quality checks
- Perform rework as directed
- Manual handling
- Operate machines and inspect mould parts
- Adhere to safe work and strict hygiene practices
- All other related tasks as directed.
- Previous experience in a similar environment is essential
- Exceptional numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong hand eye coordination
- High attention to detail
- Be able to use scales and document weight
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced repetitive production environment
- Be able to follow and understand instruction, both written and verbal
- Due to the nature of tasks, must be physically fit
- Be willing to learn
- Be flexible
- Proven reliability
- MUST have a current driver's licence and own reliable transport due to shift times
