20-30 hours per week (M-F: between 9am - 3pm). Note: hours may vary depending upon business needs, but are flexible to suit the right candidate
The Role - Key duties:
- Picking, packing and shipping
- Data entry
- Assisting customers with orders & enquiries (phone & online)
- Daily stock counting ensuring product and coding accuracy
- Weekly stocktake
- Ensure all inventory related processes are followed
- Handle refunds and returns
- Prepare inventory and shipping reports for weekly review with management.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year experience with picking, packing & shipping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to talk to customers
- Drive to learn about products and processes
- Ability to multitask in a busy setting, while remaining positive and motivated
- Rights to work in Australia is mandatory
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Computer & data entry skills, especially excel spreadsheets (and tables)
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- Understanding or experience in handling point of sales systems, especially Shopify (stocky)
- Product procurement experience
- Warehouse experience is highly desirable
- Some experience with inventory or stock control is preferrable
This position has the potential to evolve into a long term placement (higher wage) should the right candidate impress. This role would ideally suit someone who is reliable and available most weekdays.
