Piling Design & Estimation Engineer

ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Piling Design & Estimation Engineer to join the technical team of a well-established contractor in Melbourne.

• $130-150k base + super, negotiable dependent on experience
• Melbourne, VIC
• Permanent full-time position

Requirements
The successful candidate will bring into the role:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering with greater than 5 years of post-grad experience in an Estimation and Design role.
• Previous experience in a similar role as a Piling and Ground Engineering specialist.
• Experience using Wallop Design Software essential.
• Experienced in design on major infrastructure projects.
• Estimating experience using Excel Software.
• Outstanding Communicator that is confident in developing and marketing our client's products and services to the market.
• In-depth knowledge of piling techniques, including:
  
  • CFA
  • Sheet
  • Diaphragm 
  • Bored Displacement Piles and their suitability for various environments
• Ability to assess site conditions from a physical inspection & interpretation of  surveys and investigations.
• The ability to manage multiple tenders concurrently.
• A practical-minded hands-on approach.
