Form of workIn late 2023, Peloton Resources was acquired by Resource Development Group Limited (RDG) a listed Australian company. RDG via its subsidiary, RDG Technologies continues to be focused on commercializing the proprietary Peloton technologies by processing Red Mud to produce multiple products including High Purity Alumina, Separator Grade Alumina, Alumina Precursor and Iron Oxide products. Furthermore, RDG Technologies are continuing to support the development of RDG's High Purity Manganese Sulphate Monohydrate (battery mineral) project, with the full-scale production facility planned to be located just outside Port Hedland.
Role Description
This exciting role is full-time, on-site located just at a dedicated facility in Bibra Lake, south of Perth, where we operate a Pilot Plant, bench test facilities and an onsite laboratory. The Pilot Plant Manager is responsible for leading the site team, ensuring the safe and effective operation of the Pilot Plant and associated equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Management of mineral processing and hydrometallugical test work
- Five or more years of experience in Pilot Plant operation and management, preferably in a related field
- Experience with process control, commissioning, testing and maintenance of Pilot Plant equipment
- Exceptional communication skills and team-focused mentality
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage day-to-day issues associated with Pilot Plant operations
- Experience working in a safety-first environment, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Data collection and report preparation and delivery
Desirable
- Modelling, similar to Syscad
- Networking with vendors, engineering companies and suppliers
- Equipment maintenance and planning
