We currently have an exciting new opportunity for skilled and experienced PIPE LAYERS to work on multiple projects we have based across Sydney and Eastern suburbs.Job information
- Install, repair, and maintain underground pipelines and utility systems.
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate pipe placement.
- Perform excavation and trenching work using heavy equipment or hand tools.
- Assemble and install various types of pipes, including water, sewer, and drainage pipes.
- Ensure proper alignment, grade, and elevation of pipes during installation.
- Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests on installed pipes to ensure integrity and functionality.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Operate heavy machinery, such as excavators and backhoes, as needed.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
About you
- Proven experience as a Pipe Layer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipe laying techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Proficiency in using construction tools and heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in pipe installation.
- Safety-conscious with a commitment to adhering to safety regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
