Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Pipe Welder to join our growing company. The responsibilities of this role will include performing both general and specialized welding on piping in either workshop or on-site settings. You will be involved with various pipe fabrication welding tasks and workshop activities, working from drawings to fabricate maintenance and installation works to the best possible standard.

Key Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for:
- Complying with Statutory Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
- Complying with Service Stream Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance requirements
- Promoting safety of the work processes through inspections and process improvement techniques issued by supervisors
- Complying with Client Safety Rules and Site Requirements
- Undertaking Service Stream and Client site training when required
- Effectively setting up workshop equipment and tooling for fabrication jobs
- Continually assess methods of work and make suggestions and recommendations for improvement

About you:
- Excellent understanding of a range of welding codes such as AS2885, AS4041, ASME IX, AS1210, AS3992 & AS4037
- Experience cutting and welding piping in a site-based environment
- Knowledge of construction, maintenance, and fabrication industries
- Possess an industry background in oil, gas, or chemical infrastructure
- Good communication skills – ability to maintain open and consistent communication with your supervisor and other team members
- Welder certification tickets 3e, 4, 5, 7
- Construction Induction card
