Job Description:
As a Pizza/Pasta Cook, you will be responsible for crafting traditional and innovative pizzas and pasta dishes. Your passion for Italian cuisine and commitment to high-quality food preparation will play a critical role in our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas and pasta according to our restaurant's recipes and standards.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh and stock levels are maintained.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service times.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate new dishes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively to handle prep work and complete cooking tasks on schedule.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook specialising in pizza and pasta.
- A passion for Italian cuisine and a creative approach to your dishes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Familiarity with industry’s best practices.
