Their Head office in Brisbane is now recruiting for the position of Planner & Scheduler for their Lihir site in PNG on their capital works projects based out of Brisbane.
The role:
The Planner/Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing project plans in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. They will ensure that progress is accurately tracked and recorded against baseline schedules and aligns with the cost forecast. They will also provide regular updates to Project Managers allowing them to address any deviations from the plan proactively and ensure both cost and schedules are aligned.
The Requirements:
- Required years of similar experience: 10+
- Broad mining relevant work experience essential and across all the mining lifecycles.
- Prior experience leading a team in a diverse cultural environment in a mining context is essential.
- Proven track record for the delivery of project objectives and established targets is essential.
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal, written communication, and public speaking skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Must be able to complete a National Police Check.
