F9 provides planning, scheduling, cost control, forensic planning, claims assistance and project management services to support its client's requirements during any part of a project life cycle.
The role:
F9 has immediate employment opportunities for Planners and Senior Planners to join our team, Perth-based, DIDO and FIFO depending on your preferences.
You will be offered the opportunity to work with dynamic and experienced project controls professionals on prominent projects for our clients throughout Western Australia and beyond. You will be required to provide professional planning and project controls services to these clients.
In performing your duties, you will be able to call upon and be supported by the F9 team of resources and construction industry professionals. Our team come from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, providing a diversity of experience and insight.
Experience:
The successful candidates will have at least 5 years' experience and be a confident and self-motivated individual who is capable of working with a high degree of autonomy, whilst also maintaining a strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity in their work. Candidates ideally should be able to demonstrate the necessary skills through their previous planning and programming experience, including past project-based roles.
The following attributes are also highly desirable:
Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software.
Delivery experience of major projects.
The confidence and ability to engage and present to clients at all levels.
Experience in the preparation and defense of extension of time claims.
The confidence to work autonomously within a client environment.
A high level of skill and understanding of contemporary resource-based planning principles, industry safety standards, and various types of construction delivery methodologies.
At least a basic knowledge of contract law as it relates to time management and claims
A sound knowledge of the principles of planning.
The ability to quickly ascertain a client's planning needs and project requirements.
Experience in the preparation of written reports.
Ability to develop and maintain cost forecasts and reporting
Able to further develop and maintain existing professional relationships as well as to seek new business opportunities.
