We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated professional to join our team as the Senior Community Infrastructure Planner. This position is based in Karratha, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

The Senior Community Infrastructure Planner will provide direction and leadership in Community Infrastructure planning, strategy and policy development. The position will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to develop and facilitate implementation of strategic directions, plans and policies for Council’s public spaces, and sports, recreation and civic facilities and amenities.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic planning, and a commitment to creating accessible, inclusive and sustainable community facilities and spaces.
The successful person will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Recreation and Leisure Planning, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Infrastructure Project Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in urban planning, site design, or infrastructure project management, with a focus on recreational and civic facilities
- Demonstrated experience in Local Government is favourable
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in planning and design practices, and teamwork
- Current C class driver’s licence
- National (or Federal) Police Certificate, no more than 6 months old
