Planning and Development Engineer | Lismore
Salary range of $104,712 - $122,491 + super + allowances

Rous County Council provides essential water supply services for the communities of the beautiful Northern Rivers Region of New South Wales.
The Council is now seeking an experienced and motivated Planning and Development Engineer to join the Planning and Delivery team and play a key role in the Planning and design of the Council's capital works projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead the feasibility, Planning and design phases of water-related projects and programs.
Oversee and sign off on the design of water-related projects, ensuring they meet the needs of stakeholders.
Ensure project compliance with local, state and national regulations.
Execute asset management strategies and plans.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including the community, government agencies and developers.
Provide timely, accurate and understandable expertise and advice.
Utilise distribution network modeling to support decisions on water supply upgrades and renewals.
Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental or Civil Engineering
C Class Drivers Licence
Demonstrated experience in Planning and designing water-related projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Rous County Council is offering a remuneration package including a base salary of $104,712 - $122,491, super (11%), 3.5% civil liability allowance, motor vehicle allowance, potential market allowance by negotiation, with flexible working arrangements and a 9-day working fortnight.
