About the role
We are seeking a collaborative and organised leader to take on the exciting new role of Production Manager.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will manage all manufacturing and Production planning activities including all production line activities, with a strong focus on production efficiency, timeliness, accuracy and quality.
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly manufacturing schedules, scheduling customer orders and liaising with customers regarding dates of manufacture, call for packaging, release for pick up and shipping requirements as well as associated documentation.
- Plan manufacturing effectively to utilize available labor, packaging and raw materials. Managing work orders in consultation with customer service, QC, compounding and manufacturing teams.
- Process completed work orders, reconciling packaging, wastage, defects and labor rates. Plan, manage and coordinate all production activity.
- Chart production performance against agreed measures of efficiency, output, timeliness and capacity. Maintain all document management requirements including but not limited to; product and packaging specifications, production pick and batch sheets.
- Liaise with customers regarding order scheduling, changes, delivery timings, pending delays, shorts and overs. Working closely with manufacturing and warehouse teams, our production supervisor and compounding team.
- Manage, coordinate and call for customer packaging to meet production timeline and ensure suitability for timely production.

Skills and Experience
With a relevant experience and enthusiasm, you will excel in Planning and Production management activities.
An understanding of FMCG, food, chemical or complementary healthcare manufacturing would be ideal.
Exemplary leadership as well as attention to detail and follow-up skills will be essential as you deliver your accountabilities, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
Of course, communication and relationship skills will be an absolute strength.
