That's Target.What will you do?As the Planning Assistant in Underwear & Soft Home your primary accountability will be to maximise stock efficiency through size and attribute analysis and ordering and to analyse stock to sales at a regional and store level and provide recommendations to the Planner and Inventory Team to improve the balance of inventory across regions and stores.
You will be also responsible for both structured and ad-hoc RBU or department level reporting. Assist in the analysis of these reports and as a result, advise actions to be taken and optimise quantification of Australia orders to deliver balanced inventory across countriesOther responsibilities will include:Size and Attribute Analysis:
- Monitoring and reporting on product performance at an attribute level.
- Monitoring accuracy of attribute data.
- Perform scheduled size analysis and implement adjustments to size ratios through forward ordering.
- Post seasonal reporting on size and attribute performance.
- Make recommendations of size ratio for new products.
- Quantify Australia apportionment for ordering.
- Weekly review of regional performance to ensure balance across regions. Provide recommendations to the Planner and Supply Analyst on adjustments to be made at consensus meeting.
- Review timing of seasonal launch and exit across regions and provide recommendations to the Planner.
- Execute store exclusions in the relevant systems including Seasonal Ranging Tool (SRT).
- Ensure on and off range dates are accurate and updated by region in SRT.
- Communicate with stores as required including store visits (as agreed with manager).
- Run weekly, monthly and seasonal reports and work with planners in interpreting the analysis and actions for their departments as a result.
- Support Planner in weekly trade analysis and actions.
- Planning of table fixtures by calculating min, max and capacity levels to always ensure sufficient stock across all stores.
- Update Line Cards weekly to ensure correct flow and adjust as required. Provide recommendations on improvements to flow.
- Weekly review of reports and providing recommendations on adjustments.
We're looking for a commercially savvy individual who will bring a curious and data-driven mind-set as well as a passion for all things Retail! You love focusing on product, customers are always front of mind and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths.We'd also love you to have:
- Experience working in a Planning Assistant or Allocating role is preferred
- Excel - advanced
- Administration experience
- Stores experience
- Bachelor Degree (Undergrad)
