- Concession assets: Promotion and construction of concession assets such as renewable infrastructures and transmission lines.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Planning Engineer to join our esteemed team.  The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in project planning within the construction industry, coupled with a strong proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6. The Planning Engineer role involves developing and managing comprehensive project schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging industry-standard planning tools and software to ensure the successful execution of renewable energy infrastructure projects. 

Day to day, the role will involve:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, encompassing all phases of construction from initiation to completion, while ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines;
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant data and ensure accurate project timelines;
  • Monitor project progress and performance against baseline schedules, proactively identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks and delays;
  • Utilize industry-standard planning tools and software, such as Primavera P6, to create detailed project plans, conduct schedule analyses, and generate insightful reports for project teams and management;
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify resource requirements, optimize resource allocation, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and equipment throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Prepare reports and presentations for project management, highlighting key project milestones, timelines, and potential challenges, and providing recommendations for course corrections as needed;
  • Perform multitasks related to different project deliveries, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in managing competing priorities and deadlines.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, from a recognized institution;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning, with a strong preference for experience in the construction industry; 10 years of experience is desirable;
  • Proficiency in using planning software such as Primavera P6, with demonstrated ability to create and manage complex project schedules with precision and accuracy;
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project life cycles, and industry best practices in project planning and management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and engage stakeholders at all levels;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills will be advantageous, enabling efficient data analysis and reporting capabilities;
  • Strong ability to operate planning tools and software with speed and accuracy, ensuring optimal project scheduling and resource allocation;
  • Proficiency in automating and processing large amounts of data using high-level computer skills, enhancing efficiency and productivity in project planning activities.
