Planning Engineer

Redpath Partners have been exclusively engaged by a client side origanisation to recruit a Planning Engineer based in Sydney.

Our client is undergoing major development projects to improve capacity, efficiency and overall customer experience of their premises. With an extensive and diverse pipeline of projects they are seeking an experienced planner/ scheduler to join their Development team.

This role will involve creating project schedules, overseeing contractors plans and developing integrated programs. As a Planning Engineer you will be a custodian of Microsoft Project, working closely with the project delivery team to ensure they receive constant support for their plans and programs. You will report directly into the Senior Manager and play an integral role within the Development team.

To be a successful applicant for this role you must have the following.

• Degree qualified in construction, engineering or related field
• 5-10 years demonstrated experience in construction projects or project management
• proven experience in scheduling is vital
• Strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Project
• Familiarity with construction industry standards, practices and terminology
