Hire Office Administration Assistant

Location:  Tamworth, NSW

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Plant and Fleet division of Tamworth Regional Council is seeking an individual with strong administration skills and to join our team! This role provides clerical and administrative support to Councils Hire Office, including:

  • Purchase order creation and processing
  • Invoice cross referencing and processing
  • Reporting and implementing administrative procedures

The Plant and Procurement Systems Administrator is responsible for providing specialised assistance to the Plant and Supply team – Hire Office.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Certificate III in business administration OR equivalent relevant experience (typically 3 to 5 years) in office administration or similar
  • NSW Drivers Licence
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (White Card).

Salary range: Grade 7 - $1080.40 - $1169.10 per week plus superannuation for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
