EDF Systems Solutions is seeking an organized, self-motivated and energetic individual to be responsible for sales administration. We’re growing and want you to be a part of the team!
We are looking for a qualified Sales administrator to serve as a key point of contact for customers, an essential role in the organization. Our ideal candidate has a good knowledge of customer service, strong organizational skills and I.T sales support experience.
You will be working with an unrivalled team of IT, cabling and fibre technicians supporting local, national and international customers for their Australia deployments. The Inside Sales Administrator will support customers by maintaining relationships, categorizing the customer needs at a high level, engaging the right EDF consultants to scope client work or sending qualified opportunities to the appropriate account manager for follow up.
You will make calls to customers, work closely with partners, help maintain customer satisfaction and assist in tracking sales opportunities.
Work Environment
We support a flexible work place / work from home program. You will be expected to attend the office a minimum of 3 days a week during your probation period.
JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Track quotations and follow up status of sales inquiries from EDF Systems’ customers – internally track and assist quotes through requirements discovery, quote definition, accurate pricing and response to the customer.
- Processing orders via email or phone
- Track quotations and follow up customer status
- Contacting clients to obtain missing information or help answer queries
- Ensure quotations and technical proposals are submitted to customers in a timely manner
- Checking data accuracy across quotes, orders and invoices
- Maintain and update sales and customer records
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally
- Generate sales reports and report any deviations
- Checking prices and contracts are up to date.
- Taking phone calls from customers.
- Dealing with and responding to customer emails.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- An administrative or sales support background.
- Work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
- Ability to work under strict deadlines
- Professional phone presence and experience
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to prioritise your own workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Well versed in office IT skills for example Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- An administrative or sales support background.
