Boral Concrete are actively recruiting for a Plant Assistant to join our Brookvale concrete plant. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficiently batching and loading concrete, assisting with the daily operations of the site and operating plant and mobile equipment.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering day shifts and overtime (including Saturdays).
Your day will involve:
- Accurate batching of orders to specified mix designs
- Undertaking all essential day-to-day administration of the Concrete Batch Plant
- Batching of the correct concrete mix and allocating trucks to ensure the smooth operation for Concrete and our customers
- General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance, along with the safe operation of a front-end loader
What are we looking for?
- Relevant batching and/or concrete industry experience is desirable but not essential
- A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
- Front End Loader and Forklift tickets (preferable)
- Availability to work overtime and Saturdays
