Job Description:Downer's Transport & Infrastructure business manages and maintains road networks across Australia and New Zealand, with civil and commercial construction in New Zealand. We are an integrated trans-Tasman team with a leading portfolio of products and services. By sharing our capabilities and insights across our regions we achieve the best technical solutions for our customers' challenges, and for our communities.This position will be working with our Airports and Specialised Pavements team based out of our Eastern Creek depot. Travel around with our mobile asphalt plant rejuvenating airports, racetracks and ports.
What you'll bring- Plant operator / production experience in a similar industry or manufacturing environment - time spent in asphalt production, concrete, quarrying, crushing or recycling
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current General Construction Induction card (white card)
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and computer skills
- Ability to work away when required and live away from home from time to time (work based primarily in Sydney Metro with 40% of the year working away)
- Loader, EWP, Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential
