Job Summary: We are looking for experienced Plant Operators to operate heavy machinery and perform excavation tasks at construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of excavation techniques, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols. They should be skilled in operating various types of plant and be able to work efficiently to meet project deadlines. Skid Steer, Loader, Excavator, Moxy, Trencher

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Plant of various sizes and models.
• Perform excavation tasks with precision and efficiency according to project specifications.
• Excavation and Backfill of trenches for cable installation.
• Final trim and cleanup.  
• Ensure the safety of oneself and others on the job site at all times.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate excavation activities.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors.
• Monitor equipment fuel levels, fluid levels, and other maintenance requirements.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Plant Operator, with a minimum of 2 years in the role.
• Valid operator's licenses or certification for plant used.
• Strong knowledge of excavation techniques and safety protocols.
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance of various excavator models.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Safety-conscious and committed to a zero-accident work environment.
